I'm Funmilola Taiwo, LCSW-S, LISW-S — a licensed clinical social worker, clinical supervisor, and the founder of Lotus Therapy & Consulting. I hold a Master of Social Work from Cleveland State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology/Criminology from Ohio University.

With over 15 years in the mental health field, my experience spans individual therapy, clinical supervision, care coordination, case management, and juvenile justice. I am licensed in six states — Texas, Ohio, North Carolina, Tennessee, D.C., and New Hampshire — and I currently provide telehealth services to adolescents and adults.

I pull from evidence-based modalities and theories to create an individualized plan of action tailored to each client's unique needs.

My style is warm, direct, and strengths-based — I meet you where you are, and together we identify the path forward.

I'm not biased, nor am I a judgmental person. I welcome and effectively work with a wide range of people including individuals with various sexual orientations and individuals in relationship styles such as ENM, polyamorous, and kink dynamics.

For me, the greatest reward is watching someone reclaim their life — seeing resilience grow and the person they want to be manifest into reality.
